Metals Weld – glass railings in The Peaks, Luštica Bay

The Peaks complex is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Mediterranean style—a blend of stone, wood, and glass, carefully integrated into the landscape, where luxury feels natural and harmonious rather than imposing.

The company Metals-Weld has been commissioned to install glass railing systems around infinity pools and glass stair railings in the buildings within The Peaks – Golf Residences, the first golf residential complex in Montenegro featuring an 18-hole course.

The project combines Mediterranean architecture with luxurious finishes, offering residences of various types—from apartments and townhouses to villas from the exclusive Botanika collection, complete with private infinity pools, spacious terraces, and unforgettable views of the Adriatic Sea and the golf course.

For luxury infinity pools such as those in The Peaks, glass railings play a particularly important role in ensuring safety while preserving the panoramic views.

Glass railings around infinity pools

  • Complete transparency – glass panels provide protection without visual barriers.

  • Minimalist construction – instead of massive profiles, discreet linear supports are used, making the glass appear to float.

  • Unobstructed view – with no horizontal or vertical obstacles, the pool retains its infinity effect, while users can fully enjoy views of the sea and landscape.

  • Resistance to moisture and salt – stainless steel components and high-quality aluminum profiles ensure durability in Mediterranean conditions (proximity to the sea, sun, wind).

  • Safety without compromise – the glass railings are engineered to withstand loads in line with EN standards (3–5 kN/m), making them a reliable solution for both public and private spaces.

The project’s architecture is designed in harmony with nature—stone and wood facades reflect local tradition, while expansive glass surfaces and railings open the interiors toward the landscape. The installation of glass railings is carried out in cooperation with Mont Glass from Belgrade. For the staircases within the buildings, Ignis point-supported glass railing systems were chosen, offering an elegant and minimal solution for mounting glass—an almost invisible connection that maximizes visual transparency and provides a clean, modern look without bulky vertical profiles.

The buildings are positioned on elevated ground, ensuring unobstructed views of the Bay of Kotor and the sunsets. Special emphasis has been placed on transparency and visual purity of the spaces. With the installation of glass railings around the pools, our team will provide safety without obstructing the views, while the glass stair railings inside the buildings bring contemporary elegance and further enhance the sense of openness.
