Stainless steel railing system with glass infill

Our project task at the Center of Excellence in Kragujevac was to install durable glass railing systems that are easy to use. The railing on the plateau also features LED lighting integrated into the handrail, providing illumination of the area at night during various ceremonies and other events.
This glass railing system is a contemporary solution made of stainless steel with square posts, designed in the spirit of minimalism and clean lines. With no decorative elements or unnecessary details, the structure emphasizes simplicity and precision, making it suitable for installation in public buildings.

Construction and finish
The square-section posts are fitted with pyramidal caps that provide an elegant finish and prevent water from entering the structure. All metal components are made of brushed or polished stainless steel, ensuring high corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability, even in demanding outdoor conditions.

Thanks to its massive posts and precisely machined joints, the system achieves exceptional structural stability, making it particularly suitable for public facilities such as garages, airports, shopping centers, hotels, and administrative buildings, where safety and reliability are key requirements.

Glass infill and installation method
Between the posts, a glass infill is installed and secured using stainless steel point fixings. This mounting system eliminates the need for frames and allows for maximum visual transparency. The system supports various types of infill, such as 10–12 mm tempered glass, laminated glass that provides safety even in case of breakage, as well as perforated metal panels or cable infills, depending on the architectural concept.
Aesthetics and architectural application
The railing features a clean, linear appearance and a perfect balance between the robustness of steel and the elegance of glass. Thanks to reflective surfaces, minimal joints, and transparent infills, the space gains a sense of openness and visual breadth. Depending on the aesthetic requirements of the project, the glass can be clear, frosted, tinted, or printed.
